Filter Wheel

We designed a filter wheel for the "Sunrise" balloon experiment for the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research.

This contains two counter-rotating, torque-free wheels which move against each other. This allows the filter to change within one second. Accuracy is achieved by a backlash and play-free differential bevel gear.
