Design Engineer Aerospace (m/f/d)

Your field of activity:

• Independent design and, if necessary, thermal design of assemblies and systems for space flight applications
• Responsibility for work packages of structural and thermal design in larger projects based on division of labor
• Tailoring of PA requirements, ensuring compliance with requirements from EN 9100
• Documenting the implementation of mechanical requirements into the developed design
• Close cooperation in development teams with the system engineer and other involved trades

You have:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, precision engineering or a comparable course of study, preferably with a focus on construction
• Very good CAD and MS Office skills; familiarity with INVENTOR desirable, but not required
• Experience in the execution of PA/QA tasks in the aerospace sector
• Experience in space projects or knowledge of ECSS and relevant standardization an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Creative mindset, structured and result-oriented way of working with a high degree of independence
• Pleasure in dealing with people, as well as curiosity for challenges complete your profile
